YSaucy: Brooklyn Rapper Focusing on a Brighter Future

“Honestly, I want my fans to know I love them, and I want to thank them for really being patient with me.” YSaucy, the rising rapper from the New York City borough of Brooklyn, takes his time with his art. The up-and-comer is only looking to challenge himself with his music and is determined to reach the goals he is setting for himself.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, YSaucy has been rapping since middles school but started taking himself seriously as an artist about three years ago when he was 16. “I’m more of like a melodic type of artist. I like to harmonize with my voice a lot; I feel like I can express myself a lot more when I sing.” This style that YSaucy is describing is prevalent in his most recent track, “Pain.”

On top of his solo work, YSaucy is also a part of the rap group YNC. “YNC is a group my brother started a while ago with his cousins. Shout out my boys Swaggy and Bowsky, who me and my brother, Negative D, started rapping with. It stands for ‘Youngest N Charge’ because we were the youngest applying pressure, and we wouldn’t settle anything less than the top.”

Even through the struggles in his life, YSaucy is always looking ahead to a brighter future. The constant fixture in his life, his mother, is the person that the Brooklyn rapper credits for him being the man he is today. “My mom always been on my side and supported my decisions and show me how to become a man with the right work ethic and taking responsibility.”
