There’s a new face on the block of independent music labels. Big Smokey Productions is the new kid in town, and with a vast network of artists and prominent industry figures behind it, it shows much promise. One of the label’s first artists, Scrillz, is already beginning to grow.
Scrillz is a California based hip-hop artist that came onto the scene in 2017 with a pair of singles. Since then, he has been refining his craft, inspired by old school artists from a variety of music genres. After continuing to release singles throughout 2018 and 2019, Scrillz has started growing a modest but dedicated following. Now, things are starting to pick up with his signing on to the Big Smokey Productions roster.
Scrillz is working on a single with prominent reggae artist Fiji, set to come out soon. On top of that, he has a project in the works featuring a variety of island music, and he promises “good vibes” along with it. His following has increased, amassing over 20,000 followers on instagram alone. With his newfound resources, Scrillz will be an artist to watch in the coming years.
