Keep the treated area from exposure to sunlight

Refrain from strenuous exercises

You should also refrain from engaging with strenuous exercises for a duration of at least 48 hours after the treatments. Such exercises are in a position to increase your body temperature. As a result, you might irritate the treated area. Therefore, you need to wait for at least 48 hours. However, you can still do the milder exercises, like walking. You just need to make sure that your body is not overheated.

Don’t apply makeup on the treated area

If you used laser hair removal to get rid of unwanted hair on the face, you should not apply any makeup for a duration of 24 hours. That’s because makeup can further irritate your skin. After a period of 24 hours, your skin redness will be gone. Along with that, you can apply the makeup again. In the meantime, you should also refrain from the application of topical facial medications as well. That’s why you shouldn’t use any anti-acne creams. You can continue to use all those products again after a period of 24 hours.
